Don't look at it as a deal or no deal situation. It's a used car.
A 2002 Wagon, especially a 5-spd manual, is pretty rare. If you check out the Autotrader.ca site for a comparison of prices, especially Lang and Beacon in Toronto which are high volume indy used Saab site, you can see that the price is in the range. There is a blue wagon at Lang, which having seen their cars is probably immaculately detailed, for just under 15k, and 98k km. I don't see the one you are talking about on the site.
The mileage isn't important, but the service record is critical. I am not sure why you would be suspicious of the indy, and you can always check SOCC website to see what is said about him. You will need to know if the major 96k km service was completed, the condition of the belts and pulleys, and whether or not the engine is sludging. Get the indy to evaluate it before you buy, not after.
You may need a new set of tires, and depending on the rims, that will be about 800 dollars.
I have two wagons, a 99MY Linear (bought used in 2004) and a 05MY Arc (leased in 2006). Both drive extemely well on the highway, and get reasonable gas mileage in the city, with the 99 quite a bit less thirsty (170HP vs 220HP). I would have loved to have a 2002 because even today, the value of the 99 outshines the 05. MY02 had a lot of good changes (ask Ian G and others here on the site), and kept neat things like the weatherband. I would have died to have a 5-spd (had 900S and a 9-3 5-spd before) but my wife can't drive standard. Even in the city, with all the torque, you could leave it second gear in heavy traffic...
Does the wagon have the pull-out cargo floor, the roll-up cargo net package, and roof rails? Nice options to have. See if it comes with a set of winter wheels, rubber cargo mats as well as carpets. I have Thule carriers on both, and that give me more cargo space than some SUVs.
You may have trouble getting an extended warranty, from the Chrysler dealer.
On the other hand, you have a great resource only a few keystrokes away. The best thing about this site is that you get all the support you need, if something strange comes up.
