At first it looks complicated but, If I can do it, you can do it ;) Buy the radiator from eeuroparts for $230. I have a 1999 3.0 and you dont have to remove the turbo inlet pipe to replace it. First buy the special washers that go in between the radiator and transmsisson fluid lines. there should be 4 total. ($9 a piece at the dealer) Drain radiator first. Remove the hose that comes from the mass air flow sensor to the turbo inlet pipe. Remove the hose that hooks up to the T. Body and turbo inlet pipe. Then remove the hose from the thermostat to the upper left of the radiator, right underneath the hose you just removed. Remove the hose that comes from the coolant refil tank. Remove the Then remove the 2 power connections for the fans on top of the radiator. There is 2 (3 in other years i think) transmission lines for the fluid to run through the radiator and cool off on the right side of the radiator, on on top and one on the bottom. Remove the top one first. Then remove the coolant hose under that, then remove the lower transmission line. Now every thing should be dissconnected from the radiator except for the fans. There are 2 (three on other years i think) small bolts holding on to the fans, one on both ends of the radiator on the top end. Now here is the tricky part. The Radiator fans will pull up to get loose but will not clear to come out. You need to wiggle it out from the driver side of the car passed the turbo inlet pipe. Please be careful with the fans they are very expensive to replace. ($1100 on eeuroparts for both fans). Now you sould be able to see the radiator nice and clear. Push down on the little black buttons on the top of the frame of the car on top of the radiator. They are clamps that hold on to the radiator and intercooler. Remove clamps and you are set to remove the old radiator. Now on my new radiator, i had to cut off one of the pieces of plastic that extend out of the bottom left hand side that a bolt would hold on to the radiator fan. My car didnt have a place for that bolt so it interfered with the clearence of the new radiator. Now reverse install and dont forget to use the new washers for the transmisson fluid lines. I made that mistake and used the old ones and they started to leak. (wow,.....) you are done and saved your self about $600. Very nice ;)
