set off the alarm, otherwise you would never get any mechanic to work on the thing. unroll your windows, and lock the car with the key from the outside, and then unhook the battery, and then reach in the open window and unlock the door, and then pull the door pull, your alarm will go off. also works for the hood, if the doors are locked. I had been working on my car, had locked the doors whith the hood opened, had pulled the battery, but had closed the hood for the night, whent to work on it the next morning, reached in the open windown pull the hood relese and off whent the alarm. much to the anoyance of my neighbors.
