Well, I've read through the archives and if I was a risk-taker (or knew what I was doing), there are lots of options for hacking into the Harmon-Kardon radio to get a good iPod/satellite radio connection, but I'm not.

I've been using a Monster cable iPod FM transmitter that is OK at best, and lousy when I get into the city, any city. I'm also doing more traveling than in the past and thinking that an XM radio may be in my future.

Is there an XM radio or accessory that makes a better connection into the radio than the cheesy FM transmitter I'm now using?

I've heard that there is a signal splitter that goes inline with the FM antenna and can cut off the Saab antenna to allow for a better signal for satellite or iPod, but haven't talked to anyone using one of these gems in a Saab.

I was hoping the Audio Troll would fit the bill, but who knows when that will start shipping? Looks like it could be a while, and I have several road trips starting in a few weeks.
