I have went through this....except I didn't but a CPO. Was it a solenoid that went in yours??? Also I would be weary about a new tranny from Saab. The reason you don't see many things about transmissions on here is because the tranny that you have in your car now is one of the best on the market, an Aisan-Warner. If you didn't know that is who supplies trannys to Toyota and a few to GM. The new autobox that they will be putting in will not be from Aisan-Warner. I have a very very good mech and he told me that I would be better off by far finding a good low miles used tranny compared with a new one. He said that everyone of the new ones he installed from saab failed within a year or so. That is why I went with used. Since these transmissions don't fail that often you can find a good low mile example for around 1000 to 1500 including shipping. I didn't mean to type you a book, but just wanted to give you something to think about.
