my 1st week from a 9k to a 01 Aero 5spd (long)

traded in my 1995 9000CSE 5spd (135k) for a sweet looking steel grey 01 Aero sedan with 38k 1-owner miles.
First off...can't believe how much lower the car sits than the 9k. Dash and instrument panel is very similar, but smaller in size. Seats are much more comfortable and the cabin is hush quiet.
Ride is much softer and sure footed. Power is there, but the more refined engine is a sleeper. Meaning power is non-stop, but you just don't 'feel' the hard turbo kick the 9k had.
Clutch and stick shift motion has alot to be desired. Too much play in both, but more miles and i should adapt.
Dual passenger-side mirror (blind spot) is a nice touch. As a home audiophile, the HK system is really clean with nice detail. Everyone should do the 'start volume' to increase the HK amps gain.
Overall, a much improved vehicle over its predecessor. I already prefer the Aero over my wife's 00 Audi A6 wagon. It's lighter, faster, & more aggressive looking. In person, i prefer the frontend look over the 02-03s and the stock Klingons are super cool. Was going to purchase a set of 04s, but no need.
