I did check the codes and it came up blank. I also took the elbow off and checked the blend door motor and the shaft and stopper were intact. The issue they are coming up with is that the outgoing heater core pipe is stone cold. The core has been replaced which means there must be a block upstream or downstream (bypass valve replace as well). I've also had the oil cooler replaced which had a leak and they thought that was creating an air pocket in the system. Now they're stating that the heads could be on backwards but for some reason, that doesn't seem possible to me. We did check to see if the gasket was flipped by looking at another head but it would cover up several oil ports and isn't likely since the engine hasn't seized up in the past year. Thanks for replying as all comments and ideas are greatly appreciated.
