...the 9-5 ('04 Arc) does real well with studded snows, even pushes a little if necessary. However, one snow bank contained a little too much ice, and long-story-short, now I am missing the middle 2/3 of the lower 1-inch-wide air dam under the front bumper. I cleaned and evened it up so it is symmetrical and well-secured. Doesn't look all that bad. Big question is - What am I losing in aerodynamics or any other function that that piece might serve? Few things underneath look a little more exposed than before and that dam always gives an early warning at low speeds. Also, might be nice to have that 1" of snow pushed out of the way before being compacted underneath. Any thoughts about this would be appreciated here. I suspect that it is about a $300 - $400 repair but am considering leaving as is, at least until spring.
Thanks.
Ells
