FM Modulator = Success!

Well the European FM antenna adapters came today so I installed the FM modulator I bought. I have the box in the glove compartment, I took the pipe off that leads in with the cool air for the "refrigerated glovebox" which is pretty much useless and fed the wires through. I shaved the insulation off the purple wire leading to the 12v plug next to the seat heater switches and wrapped the power wire from the modulator around that and covered it with electrical tape. Someday if I get motivated enough I might solder them together. Started the car, plugged in my iPod and it came through the radio as clear as a perfect FM station. There is a slight high pitched buzz that increases in pitch with engine RPM. It sounds like a faint dentist drill. You can only hear it when the iPod is paused or the music is at a soft spot. I hear you can minimize it by changing the ground point around a little, or an interference canceler. (What's this do and where can I get one?) I have it grounded behind and right above the radio head on the ground nearest the glove box right now. I have the audio cord that connects to the ipod hanging out of the glovebox door for now. I want to try to see if I can integrate a female 1/8" jack into one of the switch blanks in next to the seat warmer switches so I can plug the ipod in there. Sort of like the plug in the center console of the 9-3 but have it right on the dash. Any ideas? Total cost was about $70 and I am quite pleased.
