Saab have come out with a method of doing it in situ (TSB 210-2480 ed 2, WIS 2004-4), but many tech's say it is almost as much work as to drop the whole engine down and more cumbersome since you need to deal with it in cramped quarters.
It pretty much entails to loosen the whole engine and push it over to the left in engine compartment.
