Any chance you live in WNY ? While visiting there in the summer my TB bit the dust and being curious in nature and having nothing but time on my hands while waiting I asked the service manager if TB failure was common on Saabs. He said it is rare that they fail, but if I was one of those using the cheap gas sold by the Indians (there is a Seneca reservation there where gas is sold exempt from federal and state levies)
then my TB would likely fail.

Maybe one of this guy's ancestors served with General Custer at the Little Big Horn ? Gas of course in an EFI engine never passes through the TB.

I just drive with a rabbit's foot, the TB on my 1999 expired early on at around 14K miles but it's held it's own to the current 108 k. On the 2004 it went this past summer at around 24K miles, and I usually do not buy gas from Indian reservations.
