II just discovered the website. I have a 2000 95SE that has been cranking but not starting when warm for the past 6 months. Yesterday, the temperature outside dropped below freezing and I almost ran out of gas. Since that time, my CEL has been on. I put some water absorber in the gas tank and went to Advance Auto and got the code P0300. The tech at advance suggested fill tank with 93 octane and see if light goes out. The light is still on and the engine is sputtering frequently. When it sputters, the CEL will flash. He suggested changing the spark plugs and wires. He had to order them, will pick up tomorrow. Today, after driving with intermittent sputtering, I shut the car off and 5 minutes later the car cranked but didn't start. I investigated this website and it sounds like the neutral position switch is the problem. Could the two problems be the same thing? Any ideas greatly appreciated.
