if this is true, wouldn't this have a big effect on the actual miles on the car?? If you apply this to say driving on a trip at a constant 65 mph it would me that the car thinks it is traveling 1.95 miles more than it actually is over the duration of one hour. It may not seem much, but over the course of say a few years and a lot of miles the ghost miles would really add up? So I guess what i'm asking is what tells the odo how many miles are going on the car?? and if a car could possibly have less miles on it than what it says. Chew on that one for a bit :)
