Airbag light = ON after front seats removed & replaced Posted by NCSaab [Email] (#973) [Profile/Gallery] (more from NCSaab) on Sat, 27 Jan 2007 16:05:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I swapped the leather seat covers on my 2000 95 today. Obviously had to disconnect the 29-pin connector. It's possible that I turned Ignition ON when connector was unplugged. Now the Airbag light is ON. Checked for all connectors seated, backed-out pins, etc.. All looks good.
I have read a post where someone had the same experience (start to finish) and the lamp went OFF after a few days. Is this a situation where the system diagnostics is looking for a certain # of fault-free ignition cycles, then clears the code itself? Thanks in advance for anyone's experience and/or sage advice.
