Although there is a difference, it is more due to the fact that you have an Aero. The larger brakes on the Aero would be a problem if you wanted to use a set of 15" wheels (which is what I'm running on my '99). The standard 16" wheels from the L Series Saturn would work though. I had an aftermarket set of 16" 5 X 110 aluminum rims I previously used on the '99 (sold by Tirerack.com for the 9-5 application). I've mounted snow tires and put them on my '04 Arc which uses the same rotors as the Aero.
To be safe, check the offset spec for the Saturn wheel. But knowing how much GM prefers to leverage parts amongst platforms and models, I'd very much doubt that spec out something different.
