Was up at local Saab dealer addressing issue with non-functional rear window defroster. Upon opening up the rear hatch (2001 9-5 wagon SE) it was found that the "T" connector that links the wires in the window to the wiring harness has come off of the window. They say the ONLY way to fix this is to replace the entire rear window (~$600) at a local glass shop.

After picking my Jaw off the floor, I declined (a foggy window ain't worth $600 to me) and thought that there has to be some cheaper way of fixing this.

So my question (plea for help) is to the Saab community (esp. the mechanics out there... nudge nudge Swedecar), is what is used to attach the T- connector to the glass? Is it some sort of soldering compound or conductive adhesive or adhesive tape or something?? I work at 3M so I figure if those compounds are made by anyone it would be us.... All help is appreciated!!!!
