Dear Greg, i replace the transmission fluid every 40k, it has now 160k.But thanks!
Dear Swedecar, you just asked for the codes of the fault, that's why i gave you only codes.First of all thanks for your reply!
The lock up function of torque converter was replaced first, but the problem appeared again. So they will replace the valve body tomorrow.
Now, to the historical part of the show:my 9-5 is model 2003.Usually it's been driven not with the traditional automatic, but with the shift ups and downs.I was driving with 3rd gear and 60km/h, and for no reasons, i felt something like hitting me from the car and automatically the gearbox made the 3rd gear to 5th gear.I guess this happenend to 'protect' the whole gearbox.Pads did not work after this, as long as the 'drive' mode too. After that i stopped the car, turned it off, then the gearbox worked properly.
What i recognized as i was driving the car was, that i could feel the torque converter going crazy, because i was all the time watching the rpm indicator on the instrument panel. On 3,4,5 gears you could see the rmp not willing to lock up.I hope you understand me, i'm not a machanic!
Do you think that the fault of the tech2 and the valve body replacement could be an answer to the problem?
Do you think Greg's attitude to the gearbox will solve the problem?
Once again i thank you!
Nik
