Well, I hope that your mechanic can figure this issue out!!! I have been having this problem since having my tranny replaced in Oct of last year. Every now and again it will seem like you miss a shift, rev up and then go into gear like nothing happens. I have had my car back and forth to the mechanic a few times, and he can never get the damn thing to duplicate it. One thing I do know is that mine is more prone to do it after I have been driving at highway speeds for more than an hour or so. When I slow down and it has to shift from second to third at 20 mph it will do it bad, but it will then go in gear and life goes on. I have been trying to resolve this for almost 6 months now to no avail. I do know that saab has a tech service issue with something like this on some of the auto Aero's, but none with the linear's that I know of. Hope we have some luck resolving this as auto transmission problems are very very pricey on the 9-5. My used tranny was 2,900 bucks installed and I definetly don't wanna do that again, my warr is up in 20 days.....
