Do you need to tow those Harley's all the time? The mpg on a Trailblazer/9-7x is insufferable compared to a 9-5 for all-year-driving.
Maybe you can just rent a big Tahoe for the week or two a year when it's time for a road trip (or tow from a thrifty 9-5 as the others have suggested)?
Just seems as if buying a big, slow, lumbering, fat truck for maybe 3% of your driving will cost you a lot of money in gas, and time sitting at gas stations waiting again and again to fill 'er up.
Last, it seems as if a 90 year old would have a heck of a time climbing up, slipping out of a truck.. the 9-5 is quite easy to enter and exit.
