I did all of the install work from the top, rather than working under the car. As far as I could discern the new trap was essentially the same as my old trap - I had previously drilled out the passages in the old trap. So I could have left the old trap in place. Had I known that I would maybe not have ordered the kit and instead the pieces, the one piece not supplied was the trap to valve cover hose which is nearly shot.

The mounting bolts(2 - 13mm I believe) are on the side of trap towards the center of the engine. It took me about 1.5 hrs to do the whole thing.

I'll reiterate my opinion that Saab should have provided some form of assistance with this retrofit as I believe the former PCV system was badly designed and should be retrofitted

So I'd advise to do all from above, most stuff can be seen, a few things like hose attachment can be done by feel.
