I got the Xenons and Halogens working together Posted by Saabpilot [Email] (#134) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabpilot) on Sun, 11 Mar 2007 06:31:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
After my trials and tribulations a few weeks ago, yesterday I finally got the Xenons and Halogens to work together on high beam. It turns out it was a simple bad connection on my jumper wire (file that one under "duh").
After putting Osram Silverstars in the halogens, now my car is a flamethrower at night! Holy cow, what a difference!
I also put Osram Silverstars in the fog lights and they make a huge difference for low beam driving.
Thanks for all the suggestions and support a few weeks ago!
P.S. I did confirm that my car, an '03 Aero is not entirely wired the same as the factory wiring diagrams...some wires are not the same color believe it or not, but I traced everything and did the jumper on relay 666 (FR1) from pin 87 to 87a and put a 15 amp fuse inline. All is well.
