Leased my 02 Linear wagon, 5 speed, heated seats, premium package in July of 02. I then had it cpo'd and purchased it after 36 months. The car has been used every day commuting, daughter's taxi service, and long distance trips. All recommended maitenance performed and all oil changes with full syn every 9k miles or so. The following were fixed/replaced under warranty: Battery (2 years), coolant system valve, sensor, and front sruts. I had minor issues with the headlight bulbs (which cleared up all by itself), and the rear washer jet (clogs frequently). For the 60k service i treated my baby to a full detail job (kids, dog and yearly camping trips are tough)and had the dealer install a wood shift knob. Other than the lack of the new car smell, I felt the same as I did when I drove her off the lot back in 2002- sooo happy.. The beige leather is in great shape and the car still feels "solid".
My dilema: my dealer has offered me $1000 over kelly blue book for my baby if I purchase/lease another one. CPO warranty will run out in July of 08 and there will be 1 year left on the 1.9% financing. Should I do it???
If I keep the car, here is a stupid question: we all know wagons are cool, are mud flaps on wagons cool??
