I took delivery of my "new" sport combi on monday. 36K and a brand new motor, intercooler and turbo from Saab, with maybe 400 miles on it, so I'm still in the break-in period on an '02!
Any suggestions? I know what Saab says, keep it under 5000 rpm and vary the mph on the highway. I thought I'd do an oil change when I have 1000 miles on the new motor.
Really is a beautiful car, dark iridescent blue with a tan interior. Still smells like a new car, must have been garaged most of the time, and driven very little by (non smoking) folks w/ no kids or pets. This is my first 9-5.
I'm looking forward to new tires, looks like I'll be waiting longer on a iPod adaptor though. In Atlanta, I can't do the FM thing, so it'll be CDs for awhile. Although I've been looking at this site and wondering if I have it in me,..

I've owned over two dozen Saabs (1970 96 to this '02 9-5) and I gotta say, this 9-5 is one big a$$ Saab. I do like it much better than the '99 9-3 I've been driving. I getting use to it very quickly, it's a Clean Machine.
