On a lot of cars, right after the spark plugs are changed there will be a "break in" period until the plug tips have worn down. I put triple-tipped Bosch plugs in my old Nissan and it started slower for about 600 miles, but once the tips were worn down evenly (this happens naturally to all plugs) it felt like the engine was started before I even hit the far end of the ignition's rotation.
