Doesn't sounds like a tranny issue ... but I have been wrong before.
- CEL on?
- correct plugs? gapped properly?
- TB clean? Whoops, I guess its clean if its new ...
- check for vacuum leaks?
the sudden jump in RPM and occasional stalling is reminiscent of a bad Throttle position sensor (which is integrated with the TB on the 9-5). did you have these issues before the TB was replaced?
