OK, So I've been secretly desiring buying another SAAB 9-5 since I had one between 99 and 00. So I passionately jumpted the gun on a pretty good deal at a non SAAB authorized dealership and now I wake up terrified about the potential expensive issues that are sitting underneath that nice heavy hood.

I've scheduled time at a local SAAB repair shop to have them examine the rig from top to bottom - However, I'd sincerely appreciate any input all of you passionate SAAB owning specialists out there can give in regards to maintenence moving FORWARD (no records to date) (52k miles at present) and the overall reliability in general - If cared for gently and I'm lucky, will it last me 100 years? Please doing your best to console my concerns. Believe me I don't need a reminder about how I could have been smarter about my purchase in regards to checking everything out before hand, I've handed myself enough concern and reprimanding in the last week since the purchase.
