I did this last fall. Took some time as I was not wanting to make a mistake but the good feeling of accomplishment is worth it. :-) And the $450 saved.

Make sure that your rotors are not directional prior to putting them on. I put on vented-drilled rotors and had a bit of a scare.

The sizes of the sockets for removing the calipers was not quite right, luckily I had purchased a set.

Make sure you get a torque wrench in ft/lbs, not inch/lbs. doh!

BrakeKleen (or similar product) is invaluable for getting the dust off of everything. Put down some newspaper or the like or you will have a big black spot. The liquid will evap pretty quick and leave the mess on the paper or drop cloth.

Take a photo of how the pads are situated in the caliper prior to them comeing out, it was slightly confusing.

Do one at a time, take your time, and double check steps.

Loctight seems pretty important.

Pry the piston ALL the way out prior to installing the pads, it will make life much easier.

If you hear rubbing after getting it all back together....check the heat shields rubbing on the rotor, it is easy to bend them slightly and have them rub. Push a standard screw driver tip against the heat shield and that will push it back enough.
