I replaced my P6's at 50K with another set of same. Proper inflation and periodic rotation were concepts my Dad taught me.
With all due respect, they're darned good tires for the Arc. I live in NASCAR country (VA and NC) and love to put some distance 'tween me and the guy on my bumper when the road starts to curve. US Rte 33 in VA from Standardville up to the Blue Ridge Parkway is a marvelous climb, especially if there's another car on your tail. You can scrub some rubber in the turns, but you wont' feel like you're losing it. Much fun. Ditto for little impromptus in the hills south of Lynchburg.
The NC Piedmont region's pretty fun, too. I don't feel lacking for traction/control with the P6's on the Arc. Wonder how they'd do out West with the different terrain.
Dont' blame the tires.
