I'm getting the milage and a look at the body tomorrow. I'm in the middle of switching out a 9.5 engine. I bought a 1999 with 122k on it, body in really good shape. I won't know of any other issues until I drop the replacement engine in it. It'll need the turbo rebuilt (DIY) I bought it for $1500 from a major car dealer. I was hoping to pick this one up for $2000 at the most. As long as I'm learning to do one I might as we'll take that knowledge and "apply" it to another. Other than the turbo I presume there are no major differences with the engine. This car is at a smaller dealership and thought I might be able to get a deal on the car. I've done about 8 engines on ford escorts. The only thing that intimedates me about this car is the "dropping" process of the engine since I really don't have a way to "lift" the car more than your standard jack stands. Although I do have a forklift maybe I could contrive something with that. Sorry for the rambelings.
