The 2 red lights on thee trunk lid seem to not work. I pulled the cover from the inside and removed the whole light assembly only to find that the lights are not blown they just don't come on. The Pink wire that powers light is dead? Not sure why, Now here's where it gets guffy. The left or drivers side had a bulb. The right side did not. Not problem!! I have a spare. I go to put it in to find that I can't fit a bulb in there. The OEM tags needed to be pushed out. Now my mind start racing, was this car rear ended before I got it?? Did the light just not get a buld? The driver’s side had on. Maybe the prev owner broke the lamp and replaced it? Not putting a new bulb in. I'm the 3rd owner, the guy before me was a lawyer and did zero work himself. All done at the deal so I’m inclined to think they would know what they were doing?

Now why would these lights not work? I checked the fuses and ran the wire back deep into the trunk but I'm not getting any power? Where would this wire go from here? Why would the factory not supply power to these lights if that were the case?

I'm stumped? Any info would be helpful!!!
