I am going in tommorrow to have throttle body replaced (SAABUSA decision). After new ECU installed, experienced sporadic, infrequent hunting across the normal range of engine operation. Particularly bad when raining or early in morning. Hope this fixes it. After the ECU was replaced I had the sensation of having to give a slight push on the gas pedal to maintain even speed. At idle when hunting, shutting off the A/C would minimize the roughness but not eliminate it. Also experienced occassional pinging on 89 octane gas. Have since gone to using 93 octane and pinging is gone. I will keep everyone informed.
