is your ABS light on? bigger tires on the front mean that the front wheels turn fewer revolutions than the rear tires covering the same distance. the ABS computer should notice this and assume that the the wheel sensors are flaking out. in that case it will turn off ABS control, and light the ABS light on the dash.
if you have the check engine light on, get the codes scanned for free at autozone or advance auto.
about your temp control: you have a broken blend door control arm or stop arm. code 08 or code 13 most likely. run the self test (press AUTO+OFF with the car running) and the error codes will display. this is an easy and inexpensive fix. (dont let the dealer sell you a new heater box)
