Undecided. I think the 235 width will be pushing the envelope as far as wisdth goes, even if it were on an Aero which has a slightly stiffer suspension. I have a set of 225/40/17 summer tires on my 99 9-5, and there are no interference issues to worry about. Have also sriven a wagon with 18 inch Ronal wheels. Ride is not bad, but my freind who has this car recently bent the fronts on a good size pothole, so I would not suggest that size wheel for street use.
