history:
103k miles 1999 9-5
had slow leak in evap (according to dealer)
used metal sealer product (internal to system) and refilled with freon/oil and been good for months now
symptom:
if running A/C and turn car off, often will get loud vibrating noise for maybe 5-7 seconds. if turn off A/C compressor few seconds prior to turning off car (ECON mode), dont get the noise at all. this only started after I had the leak and used the sealer. I try to remember just to go to ECON a few seconds before turning off car but dont always remember and I dont always get the noise. but I never get the noise if I go to ECON first. could it be some freon pressure release in the system back feeding or something? once the system is turned off? but why only when the car is turned off with A/C still running? compressor seals or something? weird. any ideas?
