Multiple weird issues today - SID, DICE, CPS.... ?

So we're driving around in my wife's 2000 Gary Fisher (2.3 LPT, 141k miles) wagon today and we stop for some ice cream. It's not particularly hot here in Indiana today (low 70's), but when we got back out to her car to leave, it would crank but wouldn't start. No clue on the history of the CPS (we're third owners of the car). After about 15 minutes, it started right up for the drive home. I had pulled a bunch of fuses to check various components, none were blown.

So based on research here, this sounds like classic CPS other than it wasn't too hot here. It's never done this before.

But it gets better! We also noticed today while out and about that, for the first time, when putting the turn signals on we get no clicking from the SID, and no indicators on the dash. It may click intermittently, or one of the indicator lights might come on (and stay on), but it's not normal behavior. Interestingly, the lights themselves on the outside of the car (front, side, back) all work absolutely normally, blinking as usual.

AND.... the air conditioning intermittently stopped blowing cold today. I can't see how that would be tied into any of the other problems (unless it's tied into the SID), but how many coincidences can there be?

Does anyone have any advice on what to check or what might be going on?
