Very glad all is well, and that nothing human was broken.
I was in Amarillo last weekend and had to drive a Lexus330. I had to laugh (to myself; I like her) when my friend said she likes it because it drives like a car. Well, sure. Every road is arrow straight up on the Panhandle. But that SUV sure felt top-heavy when I exited highways at the speeds I usually drive in my 9-5 wagon. I really had to adjust my driving style to "boring."
Honestly, I like to be able to AVOID the crazy lane changers and mid-lane debris piles (the odd muffler or concrete block...exploding semi-truck re-treads) while cruising the interstates. The Saab is designed to keep you out of trouble, it seems. And that "S" mode can sure put some distance between you and weird situations in a hurry.
Might be a teachable moment here...
