Actually it's all the cool people who drive SportWagons, but the V6 folks are very happy Saabers. The V6 sings a much nicer song than a turbo four. The fours are gosh darn quiet with much more positive boost whereas the lightly boosted V6 has actual intake roar, that whah-whah motor sound of open throttles.
The V6 is super high torque and really zips out of the whole, feels snappier than Aero turbo four for most folks. The V6 also avoids the low class four cylinder shake at idle that offends many non Saabers, me I don't mind, I'm an old Saaber who drives an Aero, but the four is admittedly a little coarse at idle.
Also remember this is a problem solving bulletin board, you will read about every insignificant problem the car ever had. The V6 is reputed to have a lower warranty claim rate than the fours and definitely did dodge some of the four issues. And overall 9-5s are well regarded for reliability by finicky consumer magazines and unmatched for safety, character and exclusivity.
