As some of you may recall, my wife flipped our GMC Jimmy 4x4 SUV about half a month ago avoiding a guy who pulled out in front of her (she walked away completely unhurt!).

Since then insurance paid out (the other guy admitted liability), and given the $4K I had on hand I went car shopping.

Yesterday I bought a 1999 9-5 sedan 2.3 with 88K miles on it for $5500. I had it mechanically inspected by my Saab dealer and they declared it to be in above average condition. The previous owner had taken impeccable care of it and there were no major issues with the vehicle (SID fading, needs new tires by winter). Interior and exterior were pristine and all the servicing of the engine had been done on schedule. They even gave me all their service records. I'll have to change the cabin filter and fix the SID, but really thats about it...

So now, we have:
1999 9-5 (sedan) 2.3L, 88 K Miles, Silver
2001 9-5 (wagon) SE, 83 K Miles, Silver
(yes they match, not intentional)

I will add pictures shortly.
