Only makes sense if you just pull in off the highway directly to your driveway, or have to climb a steep hill, or something that will load the turbo. Odds are that you're driving down residential streets or through a parking lot or whatever just before shutdown, which gives you plenty of cooling time. Can't hurt though.
I do generally stay very easy on the gas (stay out of boost) until the engine has been warmed at least til the temp gauge is in the normal range. I've heard of cracked/warped exhaust manifolds and turbo housings (not on Saab though...) due to high boost applied immediately after startup.
