My neighbor has the exact same car as I do. Same year, engine, just different colors. Walking around the block they drove by going up the hill so the engine was under load and it was nowheres near as ticky as mine. My car sat outside in the winter of Maine for 4 months before I bought it last year. Stupid me I didn't change the oil right away and we got lots of coffee colored goo under the oil cap. After an oil change that went away but there still may be some gummed up in the lifters? Or at least one or two of them. With the hood open listening closely it seems like the ticking just comes from the rear cylinder bank in the corner. I may give this LC20 stuff a try. I won't have to switch to synthetic oil like I would with Auto RX and lots of people seem to have had success with it. Hopefully it's not just a marketing scam though... And yes that did help, thanks!
