blue threadlock Posted by bobc [Email] (#473) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bobc) on Sat, 16 Jun 2007 06:43:46 In Reply to: DIC screws, one missing others loose..., fusionrx, Fri, 15 Jun 2007 23:23:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
its not a problem really. the DI cassette does not need to be tight, just in place and incontact with all of the plugs. but:
- you really don't want a screw to work its way loose and bounce around in there. (if you are unlucky, it could take out the serp belt I imagine)
- and it just looks better to have all the screws there.
get a new set (dealer or any hardware store) and use the blue threadlock. (not red!)
and sure, change the plugs if its due. NGK only!
