Looking for some friendly advice, but this is not really about 9-5s or even about saabs, so forgive me for this off topic post.
I am moving my daughter out to Salt Lake City UT to start her first job. She graduated from college this spring. we are doing the full blown father/daughter moving adventure. rented a uhaul and a trailer for her car.
so my question is about getting to Salt Lake. google maps says take I-80 all the way. But I have heard some grumbling about crossing the mountians, that we should cross further to the south (I-70?) and head north into salt lake (since we will have trouble with the elevation and the steep grades?)
Hey I'm an east coast boy so what I do I know? (oh, we are leaving from Raleigh NC)
Any advice, as always, is greatly appreciated.
I really wish I was making this trip in my Aero!
