Be leary of spraying anything in the TB Posted by gizmo [Email] (#1001) [Profile/Gallery] (more from gizmo) on Tue, 19 Jun 2007 07:31:59 In Reply to: Re: What difference does what you use make? Folks Ive heard it both ways and prefer to be a bit cautious....I wouldnt spray TB or carb cleaner into the TB and in fact you really dont need too. Spray a liberal amount of TB/carb cleaner on a clean lint free towel and wipe around inside and clean the edges of the butterfly valve. You can use a small rag covered tool to prop open the butterfly valve while rubbing around in there. Mind the O-ring when reassembling everything. The whole process looks harder than it is...takes a novice like me about 10 minutes max.
