Hi: I think that I had posted somthing on this when it failed in November 2006. I thought it was VERY dangerous and it seems that I was not the only one on this. I had called Saab USA on this back when it failed, and they did not help out. Well, I guess I was not the only one. (6+ months later) For those that want to know, here is what happened and what I would recommed having on hand to get to where if can be fixed, or tow it right away if you are not comfortable..etc.

1) The car will simply not start. If this happens, if can be a couple of things, but check this out first. Do not continue to try and start, more gas will be ejected out of the tank by the fuel pump.

2) Under the rear seat there is a round access metal "door" that can be easly removed. This is over the fuel pump access. You will find one of the lines popped out of the tank and gas all in / over the fuel pump housing.

3) Get a whole bunch of paper towl (should have on hand) and sop up the gas. Be very careful, no smoking, etc. Make sure it is all wiped up.

4) Re insert the fuel line in the receptor. You will see that one of the tabs is worn / broke off.

5) Take some duck tape and fasten the line to the clips and if not broke, tape the clips so they are tighter to line. Air out the car well, all windows open, etc.

6) Drive only to get it fixed. We were able to drive quite a bit with the line not popping out and one of our clips were broke.

7) Again, only if you are comforatble with this, otherwise have it picked up. Do at own risk, etc.

These were yellow clips, they replaced them with white.

Hope this helps, did this happen to anyone else?
