PVC check valve test

Hi. I used a vacuum tester to perform a test on the PVC check valve. Air flows through fine in the direction of the arrow but it leaks slightly under vacuum ( regardles of how much). If I put my finger over the open end it will stop leaking.
Let me know should the valve hold vacuum or leak slightly if it is good?
