I'm assuming that you've exceeded 50,000 miles.
The cylinder on my 1999 will sometimes stick down, so that I can remove the key, and the radio continues to play, until I tap the cylinder, allowing it to pop up slightly.
There is a 5A blade fuse in the back of the radio. You have to pull the radio to check/replace.
