Well, I have them on both my wagons, and you're right, it isn't used so much for loading as it is for pulling out, as a bench seat, for a picnic with the kids, or when I need to put my boots on at a site, instead of sitting on the tiny bumper.

You also have to make sure you get the cargo mat cut, or buy one from site sponsor State of Nine, which is quite professionally turned out.
The mat does get in the way if you want to use if for loading.

My MY99 had it in already, when I bought it. My MY05 (leased) had it added as an accessory, and to my surprise, the dealer had to go to Sweden to get it. It was about 1100 Cdn installed, if I recall, and requires removing the cargo floor board and carpet, which I kept, in case someone every needs one! You might try a site sponsor - sorry, I don't have the part number easily accessible.

And, I am not sure it was available after the MY05 year... good luck, and hope you get to show it off at a tailgate party soon.
