I do have hesitation and detonation issues I want them to check out, but I have not told them about it yet. I just said I needed the safety recall taken care of, the 50k service and some warrantied problems to look at. They told me to just bring a list of things for them to check out and they would take care of everything. I haven’t had this 9-5 to them yet so I'm assuming it is just a recommendation, but he explained the throttle body cleaning was the reason for the higher price of the 50k service. Is this a new maintenance procedure that is being recommended now? Or should I have them check out my hesitation problems and see if a cleaning might be part of the warrantied work?
I'm not familiar with a service advisors boat payment, or why it would increase the price of a typical 50k service? If you could explain or give any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
David
