I own a 95 900S with 30,000. Had new clutch put in 5 years ago and have put 8,000 miles on it. Now need new clutch again. Gear also pops out when I put in reverse to back up. That was one of the complaints that led to new clutch 5 years ago. I may be naive but I think a clutch should last longer than 8,000 miles. I am only driver and have never owned an automatic so it is definitely not clutch abuse. A transmission company told me that the gear popping out in reverse is like terminal cancer. He said it is indication that transmission is going. Any ideas? Any thoughts as to whether Saab should stand behind the repair. The Saab dealer I purchased car from and had work done at no longer sells or works on Saabs. They are also under new ownership so I wouldn't even think of going back there with complaint. Thanks. Marsha
