We just turned in an '04 9-5 Arc wagon at lease-end, 52K. Gave us no real problems, if you don't count tire wear. We try to rotate every 5-7K, but it doesn't prevent what seems to me premature wear. We didn't particularly care for the Sentronic transmission, but that's a matter of taste, I suppose. In its place, we bought another '04 Arc wagon with manual transmission, a CPO car (our first) with only 21K on it, and the remainder of a 6/100 warranty. Seems to be in great shape. They did do the update of the oil trap in the PCV system, evidently as a recall, since it's listed that way on the computer printout that came with the car. I thought the '04s were pretty much past all the sludge issues (as long as O&F are changed on a strict regimen -I do 5K changes- with Mobil 1 0W-40), but if you do decide to get the car, I'd make sure that the PCV system is completely updated.
